Ant-Man and the Wasp calls back to this scene by having Luis grin his way through a reminder to Dr "You put a dime in him, you gotta let the whole song play out," Dave warns, to which Kurt helpfully. "Ant-Man," the comics-based superhero movie that's centered around one of the more arguably goofy Marvel Comics characters (first prize has to go to a guy named Paste Pot Pete—and don't ask).
Still, I wish the characters in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" were a bit more curious about the mysteries of the Quantum Realm.
